Message From The President /Founder Greetings! CATALYST welcomes you today to our Twenty Third Annual Event “And The Battle Goes On! Twenty-Three Years And Still Fighting!” We thank God for the blessing of another opportunity to see another February and to serve the community! As you are aware, it is February and many events are celebrated during this time. Love seems to be a very popular subject during this period! Valentine’s Day with cards, candy, red roses, dinners for two, and romance! President’s Day is celebrated as well as Black History Month. I am sure that there is a myriad of other celebrations, however, CATALYST focuses on everyone and everyone is important! “Love of our fellowman and disease prevention education is the overall theme that we represent!” We are happy to present our 2019 Award Recipients Luncheon with dynamic panelists who will again empower you with the gift of knowledge that could be life- saving!
We thank each of our panelists for your dedicated commitment to serve the people in under-served and disparate communities as well as those who desire to fight for life and good health practices. We also thank each community partner and program participant for your contribution to make this day a successful and as well as fulfilling event. We want to thank our awesome Sponsors: Astra Zeneca, UPMC Pinnacle, Red Corporate Sponsors: Cancer Treatment Centers of America, Family Health Council, Geisinger, Penn State, UPMC Health, and everyone who has supported this event. We thank every patron, donor, Friends of CATALYST and those who unselfishly take care of their loved ones! I would like to personally thank each CATALYST Officers and members for all you do and the time you give so unselfishly for your fellowmen. I thank God for each survivor and supporter! I thank God for the continued support of my family, CATALYST Family, church family and each of you.
